Notice of Work sign

This sign caused a local chuckle.

Obviously the planning authority requires that builders fence off a property when major work is to be undertaken. They also seem to require that a Notice of Work is placed on the protecting fence.

On one of my many walks through the suburbs, I noticed this sign went up as work was about to commence. It stayed this way throughout the whole job, being about two months now.

Obviously they were told to put up the Notice but maybe someone omitted to tell them that they needed to fill in the information.

No harm done – a bit of a chuckle as I walked past.
