Here we are in May 2014.

We have taken so many steps backwards. One wonders just how difficult is it to have gender equity in political leadership in this country?

I rest my case. It good to be reminded what can be achieved – and – how easily achievements can be undone by a bunch of idiots. This can and does happen in other aspects of life, not just in national politics. So if you care for those around you – strongly suggest that we all need to remain aware and be on guard.
