Canberra was built with gardens being integrated into each household and throughout the neighbourhoods.
As the ACT Government’s planning authority allows some more and more bad make-overs of established suburbs, we have seen a reduction of the size and number of gardens.

Given all the spin about climate change and care for the biodiversity, one would have thought that by now this trend would have been reversed. Not so.
