ACT Government transparency and accountability 2

lda_door

A few comments following our previous post on how the Chief Minister is going into the ACT Elections (15 Oct) with the past catching up to him.

The big announcement was the Auditor General’s report released late Friday – click here.

There is also the land swap that happened here in Dickson involving the Land Development Agency (LDA) and the CFMEU/Tradies – click here.

Then on Friday morning Jack Waterford published another of his insightful pieces on the Chief Minister and the various LDA dealings. Unfortunately Jack was caught out by the government’s actions to publish the Auditor General’s report late on Friday before the long weekend so his references to the report are a little dated.

But it is a must read – click here.

We await the next chapter – and the spin to justify everything.
