political spin at its worst

This morning on the ABC program, INSIDERS, the group were discussing the two very successful events last week whereby Anne Summers had two conversations with Julia Gillard, one in Sydney and the other in Melbourne.

Julia had made a statement that it was not acceptable to do things that undermine the government and the labor party. She was clearly having a go at Kevin Rudd and his close supporters and their three-year campaign to internally disrupt the Prime Minister and her government and to create the environment for Kevin to be re-installed.

They then swapped to Chris Bowen being asked about Julia’s comments that Kevin Rudd had continually done things that undermine the labor government and the labor party while Julia was the Prime Minister.

Still to get over his response! Chris Bowen stated that at all times Kevin Rudd acted professionally and in the best interests of the labor party in my experience.

This was not a political spin statement. This was an amazing denial of the truth and that which is now well documented.

This man and his colleagues believe what they say?

The human condition continues to amaze.
