Exhibition of contemporary art

It was Saturday 28th March 2026 when we made that pleasurable trip across town to Gibson’s Auctions to see the latest offering of photographs, paintings and prints. Some of these auction exhibition are great opportunities to see works that may disappeared again into private hands.

The works included Petrina Hicks,  Janina Green, Narelle Autio, Pat Bassington, Bill Henson, Carolyn Young, Patrick Pound, Valerie Sparks and more..

It is highly recommended for people in Melbourne to keep an eye on these auction houses; there are some wonderful works to be seen; entry if free unless it happens that you buy a work or two – as we have done occasionally.
