A city that embraces public art must a place to visit. In Canberra when Jon Stanhope was Chief Minister the city had a very active public art program.
Sadly the trolls within the Liberal Party used the media to hound this program out of existence.
Since then no local Federal or ACT politician has shown any common sense as to how such a high profile program could enhance the city’s appeal to visitors. Such a shame we have no real political intelligence in Canberra.
