One of the many pleasures of living in Melbourne is that when you walk around the nearby suburbs, there’s plenty to diversity to take in.

There are homes of many periods of the life of the suburbs. A great range of architectural styles. There are also gardens to be enjoyed as they change with seasons.

And then there are those front yards where people make statements. The photographs here are of a garden nearby where the owners are having fun. I wonder what their immediate neighbours think?

As for me, it is fun to stop and take it in and see if there are new objects.
